When you are getting married, the wedding car is a very important part of the whole ceremony. When you choose the type of wedding car, there are several criteria that you should consider to make your special day perfect.

Below are a few of the key checks to consider before deciding on a wedding car:

1) Can you get in and out easily? This may seem like a strange question but it is easy to get in most cars in normal clothes. For bride grooms, things don't really change. But for Brides, it is important that access is both easy and elegant when wearing a flowing wedding dress and wedding shoes (which are likely to be brand new and the Bride may be unused to them). So the ideal wedding car has large doors and good seat height. Low slung sports cars are less than ideal....

2) Colour of Wedding car. Traditionally these are white but some suppliers have various colours, make sure your wedding car does not clash with your wedding dress as it will spoil the wedding photo.

3) Drivers, It is important to have a driver in suitable attire and with the correct training to help you in and out of the car. Obviously the driver should drive slowly when arriving at the place of the ceremony. Often people will photograph you arriving at the church or place of marriage; have a word with the driver to make sure he/she does not stand in the way when you are out of the car and having photos taken. 4) Car decorations. Now this can be a lot harder than you imagine and also fraught with problems. If you are using real flowers to decorate the car, considerations such as the fragility of the flowers should be taken into account. Especially if the car is likely to do any speed (above 40mph) as decorations on the outside of the car may get damaged or blown off.
