What are your delivery policies? We use Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery Services and aim to have your order with you within 3 days. For an emergency delivery we would use Parcel Force which would incur a higher cost. Please contact us for details or refer to the Terms and Conditions.
How are the flowers packaged? All of our products are sent out boxed with bubblewrap and/or tissue paper. If we are sending a sample flower head, this is likely to be delivered in a standard padded envelope.
Do the flowers come supplied in a vase? If the flowers are pictured in a vase, please read the accompanying information shown with the picture. This will tell you if the vase is included, or if it is just the flower display which is for sale.
Can I order a vase to go with the flowers? Yes. We only stock a limited amount of vases, but we are always happy to offer the vases we have in stock, or if we have the time, we will purchase a vase from our wholesalers for you.
How much is delivery? Delivery charges are dependent on the size and weight of the packaged product and this is calculated automatically when filling in the payment process.
What happens if my recipient is not present at the time of delivery? The Recorded Delivery Service does require a signature upon receipt. If there is no-one home at the time of delivery, often a neighbour will sign for it. However, if there has been no-one available, the item will be taken to your nearest Sorting Office for collection and a card will be posted through your door to advise you of the action you need to take.
If you opt for Standard Parcel Post, the parcel is likely to be left in a secure area by your door or left with a neighbour.
If the Post Person decides to leave the parcel on your doorstep, SilkBouquets are not responsible for the risk or theft.
Can we deliver flowers today? We are currently unable to offer a same day delivery services unless you are very local to us. We hope to be able to offer a same day service in the future.
Can you guarantee delivery on a specific date? Yes - but only if you place your order in enough time! Every item is made individually so we need time to make, package and get to the Post Office on time. If it is necessary for us to use Specail Delivery or Parcel Force for an absolute guarantee, an extra charge will be incurred. Please contact us for details.
I like one of your products but can you alter it slight for me? Certainly. Just email or call us and we will make every effort to make your alterations.
Where do you deliver? Throughout the UK and Globally (for all non UK orders, we need to provide a quote for shipping - please email us what you are interested in and where you live)
Can I order by telephone? Yes, we love a natter!
Can deliveries be made to hospitals? Yes, so long as we have the complete UK postal address, and preferably a telephone number.
Can I send flowers anonymously? Yes, we are as discreet as the local GP!
What if I am dissatisfied with my purchase? We have a "no-quibble" policy and will happily replace any item you are unhappy with providing you contact us straight away and the it is returned within 7 days in the same condition and packaging we sent it to you. Return postage at the cost of the customer.
For any item over the value of £30.00 which is returned later than the 7 days deadline, we will charge a handling fee of 20% of the overall cost. i.e. if the item/s (incl. p&p) cost a total of £100.00 we would charge a £20.00 handling fee for any items returned after 7 days. Return postage is at the cost of the customer.
How best should I look after artificial flowers? We recommend using a hairdryer on a low, slow heat to gently blow off any dust and cobwebs. Even a good shake should suffice. There is a product by Chrystal with is a silk and dried flower cleaner which cleans and freshens silk, fabric and dried flowers and plants. You should be able to get hold of this product at a hardware store, garden centre or even your local florist
We don't recommend immersing in water as we cannot guarantee that the colours wont run - none of them should, but we cant make a guarantee to you that they absolutely won't run.
